Commercial Truck Trailers
Single vehicle truck trailers are also called as hotshot trucks, which can only transport a single car because of their low capacity. The advantage of the single truck trailer is that it is accessible easily even into small spaces where the large commercial truck trailers cannot get into, making it easier to deliver things comfortably. The multi truck trailers are also called the tractor-trailers and can carry multiple number of cars.
However, the semi truck and trailers are a bit less expensive than the single trucks because the expenses of the transportation is shared among the different cars being transported, but in case of single trucks, the expenses of transporting a single car is given only by a single person or company. However, if the car requires extra care, then it is a best option to opt for single commercial truck trailer, since it takes extra care handling the single car rather than the multi truck trailers, where they have many cars to take care of. Many other types of truck trailers include the log carrier truck, refrigerator trucks, semi truck and trailer vehicles, heavy load trucks and cv type trucks. Refrigerator trucks vary from small to medium transportation trucks, which travel by transporting refrigerated items like the fish, meat, ice creams and other consumer products, in bulk.
The refrigerator trucks consist of an inbuilt apparatus, which helps in cooling and the presence of this cooling apparatus makes the vehicle heavier. Log carrier trailers are especially for carrying heavy logs, which are useful for construction purposes. They carry huge sections of heavy-duty construction timber. Flat bed trucks carry a detachable hydraulic controllable platform at the back and a driver cab with a mounted engine. The attached platform is either a flat bed trailer, which is very large or a semi truck trailer, which is smaller than the large flat bed trailers.
